Arrival and Check-in Requirements
A professional image is vital for success in our military life. As we are on duty 24/7, maintaining that image extends beyond the normal duty period. Periods of what airmen may believe is off duty time are in reality a regular military pass period which allows us time off to recuperate from the stresses of a military career. Therefore, this memo outlines standards Holloman military members must maintain while on base and not in uniform but performing official duties.
While in civilian clothes and seeking official military customer service (e.g. Finance, Military Personnel Flight (MPF), Hospital, etc.), all military personnel will wear appropriate attire. Military agencies will deny service to Holloman members if they are not in compliance with this standard:
Airmen must also maintain a professional appearance while performing PT. All personnel performing PT during a squadron approved-time period must meet the following minimum dress and appearance standards:
In-processing begins at your unit. Immediately upon arrival at Holloman, notify your sponsor and/or report to your Commander Support Staff. CSS should register inbound personnel for Holloman Newcomers Orientation as well as an appointment with our Holloman Welcome Center. Your unit will direct you to the Military Personnel Flight at customer support in the Military Personnel Flight, building 222, if additional information is needed.
Holloman Spouse Welcome
Moving to a new base can be challenging. The Holloman Spouse Welcome is held on the same day as Holloman Newcomers Orientation. Military spouses can connect with other military spouses and learn about the programs/services available at Holloman and the surrounding area. The Holloman Spouse Welcome is meant to be a fun way to connect during these difficult times and learn more about your new base. Visit our website hollomanafrc.com to sign up. We encourage the usage of childcare for permanent change of station, which offers 20 hours of free childcare on a space available basis through the family childcare coordinator. A childcare for PCS voucher can be picked up from the Military & Family Readiness Center. To coordinate care please contact the family childcare coordinator and she will help identify available family childcare providers.
Important Documents to Hand Carry

If you get married before your permanent change of station, you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse, if you do not follow proper procedures. Once you arrive at your installation go to the Military Personnel Flight located at building 222 to amend your orders and additional procedures.
