Deployment Support Overview

Deployment can be a challenging phase of the military lifecycle, but it’s important to know that you don’t have to go through it alone. The military provides a variety of resources and support programs — ranging from educational briefings to morale calls — for your loved ones, children and service members to ease the stress of deployment. Military members may be assigned to a specific installation but support may come from local communities, Yellow Ribbon events or the installation itself.

The Holloman AFB Military and Family Readiness Center Readiness NCO and staff strive to prepare service/family members for impending states of deployment: 

  • Pre-deployment
  • Deployment
  • Reunion.

The Military and Family Readiness Center team work closely with Unit Leadership especially First Sergeants and Key Spouses.

Deployment services and activities include the following:

  • Deployment Briefings - Conducted in a variety of forums to include Commander's Calls, Spouse Groups, Mobility Lines, Mass Briefings and individual briefings for both the deploying member and their families.
  • Readiness Programs - Readiness assists in providing communication support through morale calls and access to internet using the Military and Family Readiness Center QoLnet computers.
