A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
After making a few moves with the military, some young people become "experts" at moving, but it can still be a stressful time of leaving friends, worrying about making new friends and dealing with parents who might be experiencing moving stresses too. Any child or teen desiring a sponsor prior to their arrival at Holloman may contact the Youth Center at 575-572-3753 or DSN 312-572-3753. Once you arrive at Holloman, try to get a tour of your new school before your first day. Remember that even though that first day may or may not be a good one, with each day, you will be become more comfortable. Joining a club or activity will be the quickest way to meet others who share common interests.You may also contact the Holloman Relocation Assistance Manager through the Relocation Assistance Manager at your current base or by notifying your military sponsor who can make the contact for you.
The Holloman Youth and Teen Center, located in Building 647, is affiliated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the 4-H program. The facility offers a year round sports, social, cultural and outdoor activities. Youth and Teen membership entitles youth to participate in programs including dances, contests, food nights, trips and other teen and tween councils and tournaments.Youth Sports

A registration fee is required for each sport and an annual physical is required as well. The youth programs at Holloman are extensive and heavily attended by youth of all ages. Call 575-572-3753. Youth Director is Rhonda Fowler.
