2) The Weapons Station offers JBWS Charleston Homes, a Balfour Beatty Community. There are a variety of two, three, and four bedroom rental homes featuring updated finishes, fully-equipped kitchens and ample closets and storage space. Residents can enjoy the very walkable, pet-friendly community’s many amenities, including playgrounds, sport courts and a dog park, as well as easy access to all the base facilities.

1. The Weapons Station’s Foster Creek is a gateway to experience everything the Lowcountry has to offer. It's minutes away from hunting and fishing at Marrington Trails and beautiful Cypress Gardens, where you can take a scenic walk, hike, or ride in a boat. 2. The Air Base Fam Camp is just 25 minutes away from historic downtown Charleston and features pull-through sites, concrete pads, laundry facilities, and nice walking trails. It also contains a nicely wooded area with lots of shade. Daily RV rate is $35 and Tent Camping is $20. Call 843-963-1732 for more information.
3. Short Stay Recreational Area offers a beautiful recreation area with year round outdoor activities and recreational lodging. Sitting on fifty five acres, Short Stay offers wonderful views of Lake Moultrie where camping, fishing and a beach offer plenty for the family or group outing.
