If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.
When moving from base to base, make sure to hand-carry medical and personnel records, passports & Social Security cards, shot records, birth certificates & marriage certificates, spouse employment documents and references, children's school records and household goods inventory list.
If married, ensure your spouse has a copy of orders and appropriate Powers of Attorney to accomplish settling-in tasks! Make sure a relative (spouse, parents, fiance', brother, sister, etc.) or friend knows your full name, SSAN, unit, and arrival plans.
In case of any emergency for personnel based at Keesler, contact your duty squadron commander or first sergeant; other agencies which can help you
enroute are the Red Cross, other nearby military bases (even Guard or Reserves); Salvation Army, and other community agencies.

Air Force Aid Society -- Emergency financial assistance may be available through the Air Force Aid Society at Keesler during duty hours. They may be contacted at 228-376-8728 or DSN 312-591-8728. The American Red Cross handles all calls after duty hours and on weekends. They may be reached at 1-877-272-7337.
