With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.
DOD Personnel (active duty & civilians) on official orders (Priority 1) to Kirtland AFB must contact the Kirtland Inn (24-hour check-in point) prior to arranging any off-base temporary lodging; failure to do so, may void any off-base reimbursement, if applicable. If they do not have available rooms they will assist you with a non-availability slip and other lodging information.
Pets now allowed in limited TLF accommodations, limited to two pets. There will be an additional $10 nightly fee. If necessary, a cleaning fee up to a $150 will apply. For any questions feel free to contact the front desk and we will be happy to assist you. Pet shot records required at check-in.
For Reservations with children and Pet Friendly Rooms please contact the Lodging office directly for accurate reservations.

Installation commanders may establish a policy limiting the number of days space-available guests may stay in on-base lodging to no more than 30 days per visit.
