Relocation assistance can provide support if you’re preparing to move or PCS. The programs and services defined below are provided by the Military and Family Support Center. In addition to the assistance program, a variety of other services may be available. Check the additional information topic to see what unique installation services are available to you.
If you are approaching a permanent change of station, or PCS, you may have questions about your upcoming move. As part of the Military and Family Support Center, the Relocation Assistance Program provides services and resources to help make this transition as smooth as possible. Below is a list of resources.
The Team Kirtland Newcomers' Welcome Orientation, Bus Tour and Information Fair is for all military and civilian personnel new to Kirtland AFB to accomplish essential briefings and provide information about Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, and New Mexico. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Briefers include Base Leadership, SARC, JA, IG, EO, Safety, OSI, PA, Emergency Management, Chaplain, A&FRF, Voting Assistance, and 377th Medical Group. A bus tour of the base follows the briefings and the event concludes with an Information Fair of on-base and off-base agencies. Continental breakfast and Lunch are provided.
This event is scheduled for 7:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. every three weeks at the Mountain View Club.
