Legal assistance is available to you and your family. Below, you’ll find information about claims and installation specific programs and services. If you have questions, reach out to the legal assistance program at your installation.
The Legal Office and Judge Advocate is located in the 377 Air Base Wing Headquarters (Building 20604) and is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call the office at 505-846-4217.
The office prepares general powers of attorney and provides notary services on a walk-in basis. Eligible individuals may also receive other legal services by appointment only. These services include, but are not limited to, the following:
The legal office provides certain briefings every Thursday under the following schedule:
Claims ServiceThe Claims Division will provide claim forms and instructions concerning the submission of claims for damages or loss of household goods. Those filing a claim must file within 70 days of the delivery of household goods.
Military Justice DivisionVictims of crime and witnesses can receive briefings on the military justice system and their rights under the law from the Military Justice Division.
