Deployment can be a challenging phase of the military lifecycle, but it’s important to know that you don’t have to go through it alone. The military provides a variety of resources and support programs — ranging from educational briefings to morale calls — for your loved ones, children and service members to ease the stress of deployment. Military members may be assigned to a specific installation but support may come from local communities, Yellow Ribbon events or the installation itself.
Readiness and deployment support programs assist you and your family during all phases of the deployment cycle, providing workshops and services to help meet the challenges of deployment as well as information and referral to deployment-related resources. Services include education briefings for deploying service members and families, support services, morale calls and service-specific programs.
Preparing for deployment is a challenging time. To help families stay strong during the deployment cycle, Marine Corps Family Team Building offers numerous workshops and briefs. Register for a Deployment and Readiness training visit Eventbrite.com, or contact MCFTB.
