Youth Sponsorship Program

Youth Sports
The youth sports program in Albany runs hand in hand with the local YMCA. Our youth are afforded the opportunity to participate in YMCA sports programs at a less expensive price. This is made possible by conducting all practices and administrative functions internally. All MCLB teams utilize the facilities and fields aboard the Installation for practices. They are placed on YMCA schedules and play games in the local YMCA leagues. Our youth coaches are composed of Semper Fit staff members and active duty Marine volunteers. We offer Spring and Fall soccer, Winter basketball and Summer baseball.. The age groups are set up by the YMCA along with the rules and regulations. The most popular age groups in our area are ages 5-12. Youth sports registrations are conducted at the Thomason Gym, BLDG 7360. For more information please contact, 229-639-5246.
