Loan Closet

The Misawa Loan Locker provides small appliances and household items temporarily during a PCS or move. Items are available for all ranks and branches. All items (except microwaves) can be loaned out for up to 30 days. Extensions are considered on a case by case basis. All items must be returned clean and ready to be reissued. Availability of items is not guaranteed, especially during high PCS season. Due to public health and guidelines, we are unable to provide bed linens and baby items.

Loan Locker hours for pick up or drop off of Loan Locker items are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To borrow Loan Locker items, military personnel or their adult family member should come to the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Bldg 656, with a copy of the PCS orders. Items will be issued at the time of request. The A&FRC is closed the afternoon of the first Thursday of the month for training.

• 2 person Family Kitchen Pack: Includes 2 plates, bowls, coffee cups, glasses, and silverware set of 2, Also, 1 of each item: baking dish, can opener, colander, cutting board, cooking spoons (2), spatula, frying pan, small, med, and large pots w/lids, measuring cup, measuring spoons, mixing bowl, pitcher, and medium slicing knife. - 30 days

Other Loan Locker Services

The Airman and Family Readiness Center dispenses coupons for various food and household products redeemable at the BX or Commissary. These coupons can provide significant savings and are good for six months past their expiration date on overseas military bases.
