Loan Closet Overview

A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good.  This  program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.

Atsugi Housing Service Center offers loaner appliances and furniture while Fleet and Family Service Center offers household items for temporary use while awaiting for Household Goods Shipment.
FFSC offers, on a temporary use basis, hospitality kits; which include dishes, cooking items and accessory kits.
Dish Kit: silverware, plates, glasses, cups
Cooking Kit: pots and pans, knives, utensils, cutting board
Accessory Kit: toaster, iron, coffee maker, can/bottle opener, handheld mixer, land-line telephone

A tabletop ironing board is also available for checkout.

How to Borrow

Contact the Housing Office for the temporary “stick” furniture or come into the FFSC front desk to check-out the Hospitality Kits you need. Be aware that the Hospitality Kits are issued on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
