Loan Closet

The Fleet and Family Support Center has a Loan Locker to assist newly arriving personnel or those preparing to depart who have need for temporary housing. Items such as folding tables, chairs, dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, drinking glasses, and utensils are available for check out. Welcome aboard packets filled with information on the base and the nearby community are also available at no charge.

These items are loaned out and free to our military families on permanent change of station orders. If you'd like to borrow loan locker items, you need to present a copy of your orders and a military identification card. Items may be borrowed up to 30 days. Extensions are available if needed. You will check off items that are borrowed, document date received and when they are due back. Items may be borrowed past the extended time, if requested by the active-duty service member. Please communicate with the Relocation Program Manager for further assistance.

All items should be sanitized prior to using. Please call ahead at 540-653-1839 and leave a message so the RAP Specialist can set up an appointment to assist you.
