Check-in Procedures

Congratulations on your assignment to Osan Air Base!

If you haven't arrived yet but have orders to Osan AB, you're invited to join the Osan AB Pre-arrival Orientation brief via Zoom at 8 a.m. Korean Standard Time. These briefings are held monthly, usually on the first Tuesday of each month. If you're interested, please email 51fss.fsh.relocation@us.af.mil to sign up.

For the latest information on Newcomers and Covid-19 entry requirements, please visit the provided website or download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

For personnel arriving at Incheon Airport, please use the contracted bus transportation provided by the Joint Personnel Processing Center (JPRC). Contact the JPRC service desk located at:

• Terminal 1: Located at the end of Terminal 1, make a left after exiting the large glass doors.
• Terminal 2 Gate A: Take a right after exiting Gate A; the JPRC desk is at the end.
• Terminal 2 Gate B: Take a left after exiting Gate B; the JPRC desk is past the elevators on the left.

All United States Forces Korea personnel are prohibited from wearing OCPs or service equivalent uniforms at Incheon International Airport. All personnel will wear either Class A/B uniforms, or service equivalent. Appropriate civilian attire is also authorized.

The journey from Incheon Airport to Osan Air Base is approximately one and a half to two hours by bus. Please stay in direct contact with your sponsor before and after your arrival to update them on your travel plans.

Three FSS buses have been scheduled to transport newcomers arriving at Incheon International Airport. Refer to the following schedule:

• Terminal 1 Gate 2: 0930, 1800, 2100
• Terminal 2 Gate 3: 0900, 1730, 2030

For service members and family members traveling under PCS/TDY orders, the cost is $40 (cash only) per person one way. Tickets can only be purchased with cash at the Bus. Please note that pets are not allowed on the FSS buses but arrangements can be made in advance for transportation with their family in a van at a cost of $300. This is a non-reimbursable expense.

Your CSS will schedule you for base in-processing. Please contact your unit CSS for details regarding time and location. We look forward to welcoming you at the Newcomers Orientation!

For more information, please visit the base legal office. If you get married before your permanent change of station, you must inform your gaining commander. Visit your nearest Military Personnel Office to enroll your new spouse in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) as soon as possible and inquire about amending your orders to add your new spouse if desired. Failure to follow proper procedures will result in the military not paying for your spouse's travel and housing expenses.
