A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
Hours of operation for the Loan Locker is Mondays and Fridays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. It is located in Building 916, at the Military Family Readiness Center. Call DSN 315-784-5440.
Some Items available to be loaned:
Loan Locker is a program that assists relocating service members and their families with short-term loans of kitchen items. Relocating families can borrow kitchen items while PCS-ing to/from Osan AB. All items are loaned out for 30 days. An additional 30 days, if needed, can be granted. Red wagons are loaned out for a maximum of seven days to help transport Loan Locker items.
The following items are available for a 30-day loan:
Dish pack kits are personalized based on members' family size. Dish packs for single members are also available. Each dish pack contains glasses, cups, plates, saucers, bowls, spoons, forks and knifes. These items are contained in a bin and lid for ease of carrying.
Red wagons are also available.
The Relocation Assistance Program has an active Loan Locker that provides basic kitchen items, designed to assist all federal ID card holders and their family members until the arrival of their household goods.
All items are available for a 30-day checkout. An extension of 30 days can be granted, upon request. Red wagons may be loaned out for a maximum of seven days to help transport Loan Locker items. The Loan Locker is open Monday and Friday, 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
