If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. If you are near a DOD military installation, you can contact their Aid Society or Relief Society requesting financial assistance due to your emergency. They generally can provide assistance to meet unforeseen required travel and related maintenance expenses such as transportation, lodging or extraordinary costs involved with the permanent change of station. The Osan Air Force Aid society does not have 24/7 coverage.
For after hours emergencies, contact the American Red Cross 1-877-272-7337. You must initiate an AFAS application on-line. After submitting your application, it will be routed to HQ AFAS. You will be contacted per the contact information you provided.
You can contact the Military and Family Readiness Center at 784-5440 to walk you through the process and let you know what documents need to be uploaded.

Air Force Aid Society's Child Care For PCS/Volunteer Program Vouchers are on currently pause at Osan Air Base due to lack of Family Child Care providers.
The American Red Cross is always available for emergency aid. Just contact the nearest Red Cross chapter listed in the local phone directory and explain your emergency. If the Red Cross can't cover the financial emergency they have a reciprocal agreement with the Air Force Aid Society to meet your needs.
