The Financial Readiness Program offers information and referral services to Soldiers, retirees, Family Members and Department of the Army Civilians. The Army Emergency Relief program provides emergency financial assistance for Active Duty Soldiers, Retirees, National Guard, Reservists, and their dependents. This is just one of the services offered through this program. For financial counseling, referrals are made to Little Rock Air Force Base.

In the state of Arkansas the state law is that every vehicle must have the following coverage.
Required Coverage
For those who are active duty, retirees and National Guard who have been put on Title 10 for at least 30 days and who find themselves in unexpected emergency situations, the Army Emergency Relief program stands ready to assist them with an interest-free loan or, in some cases, an outright grant. The program also provides assistance to spouses and dependents of deceased Service Members in the form of a grant. You can receive help at any nearby military installation or by calling the American Red Cross at 877-272-7337.
Another possible solution for financial hardship is to draw Advance Pay when you get to your duty station. When taking this option, take into consideration that this would result in several pay periods without financial support.
Emergencies while en route
In case of an emergency while en route, contact the nearest military installation. You can also contact the American Red Cross at 877-272-7337.
