Each installation provides information about the types of schools and programs offered on or near your installation for your child. Learn about the types of programs, guidelines and requirements for each school. Whether you choose to send your child to a Department of Defense School, a private school or public school, your installation can help you explore all of your options to make the right decision for you and your child.
School Liaison OfficeThe School Liaison Officer’s (SLO) primary role is to support the Military Family with incoming and outgoing educational transition issues and to ensure the child receives the best education possible while their parent(s) serve in their current assignment.For all questions or concerns regarding educational issues while stationed here in area II (Yongsan and K16), please call 757-2241 or 0503-357-2241.

Education and Training support is designed for the professional and personal development of soldiers. The Army Education Center is available on a walk-in basis and is located behind the Theatre and Carey Fitness Center in Bldg 1757. University of Maryland Global Campus is the On-Post University.
Army Continuing Education System Briefing REQUIRED. Brief is every Thursday at 1300, Room 131. * Active TA users not required to attend.
Hours: Monday-Wednesday-Friday is 0800-1630 and Thursday is 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

K16 EDUCATION CENTER:
K16 Education Center is located on the lower floor of the Community Activity Center, Bldg. 302, room B108. K16 offers Counseling and Army Personnel Testing services and has a small computer lab for customer assistance.

USAG Camp Casey and K-16
Camp Casey and K-16 are unaccompanied tours (with exception of some service members who got exception to policy approval to bring the family members in area II). There are no Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools on post.
