Pen Pal Program
"Kids in Touch with Kids" is a pen pal program sponsored by the Youth Center. If you are moving to Little Rock AFB, you can correspond with a pen pal from the base and find out about the area before you arrive. Ask your parents if they received a "Kids in Touch with Kids" form in their sponsor package. Fill out the form and mail it back to the Youth Center. If you do not have a form to fill out you can still request a pen pal by contacting the Youth Center.
NAF -- Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) positions are available for applicants who are 16 years old and would like to work with children. There are a variety of positions available such as recreation aids and assistants, laborers, custodial workers and many more. If you are interested in applying for any position, go to the NAF personnel office where they have lists that show current and projected openings and the qualifications required. NAF is a great place to find summer or part-time employment opportunities.
Children ages 5-8 must be accompanied by a parent or sibling over age 16 unless they are participating in an activity that provides continuous staff supervision. Children up through 6th grade may stay until 6 p.m. nightly.
