If you arrive during duty hours, check in at your unit's Commander's Support Staff (CSS) to begin squadron in-processing. Report in uniform. As well as checking in with the unit, it is mandatory to initiate base in-processing. Go to the Military Personnel Section located on the first floor of Building 1150. Your CSS will provide instructions to attend the mandatory Wing Orientation. Spouses are invited to Wing Orientation. Members must also attend Medical Right Start at the medical clinic held every Tuesday at 9 a.m. After you have done your initial in-processing, you will be given permissive temporary duty travel for house hunting, if eligible. It is extremely important that you do this! Otherwise you will be charged with regular leave which may not have been necessary for you to take. If you arrive after duty hours, report to your UPO the following duty day.

Temporary Lodging Reservations
The Fighter Country Inn handles all temporary lodging needs for Luke Air Force Base. Lodging is open 24 hours a day and consists of Visiting Quarters, Distinguished Visitor Suites and Temporary Lodging Facilities. Space can fill up quickly, so it is suggested you make your reservations as soon as possible, https://af.dodlodging.net/propertys/Luke-AFB. You will need a copy of your orders and must know your arrival date. Your sponsor can also make your reservations for you with a copy of your orders.
Families arriving in PCS status may stay in one of the Temporary Lodging Facilities for up to 30 days, space permitting. Some of the units are pet friendly and guests must abide by the Air Force Lodging pet policy. Contact lodging office directly at 623-856-3941 for accurate, pet-friendly room reservations. If a pet-friendly unit is not available, guests will need to kennel their pets.
PCS single airmen arriving after duty hours or on weekends are checked into Hospitality Quarters until the first duty day when they are then assigned to their squadron dormitory.
If you get married before you PCS you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures. Contact military personnel section at 623-856-7875 for appropriate documentation required to grant your new spouse an identification card or enrollment in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System.
