As a gateway to the resources you need, the Military and Family Support Center provides information, support and services to help you balance the demands of military life. The Military and Family Support Center is one part of the overall Family Readiness System, which is the network of agencies, programs, services, partnerships and individuals that supports your personal and family life readiness, mobilization and deployment readiness, and mobility and economic readiness. It should be one of your first stops once you arrive at a new installation. The programs and services are a key resource for you and your family. They include:
The Federal Voting Assistance Program ensures that service members, their eligible family members and overseas citizens have the tools and resources to register to vote and request an absentee ballot, regardless of their state of residence. The Voting Assistance Guide is a reference guide for everything you need to know about absentee voting in all 50 states, the U.S. territories and the District of Columbia.

Veterans benefits advisor: Representatives at the Luke Airman and Family Readiness Center who are available for appointments or walk-ins Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, please call 623-856-6550.
American Veterans representative: These are representatives who also have an office within the LA&FRC and who are available Monday through Thursday by appointment only. An AMVET representative can provide sound advice and prompt action on compensation claims at no charge to the veteran. They will also assist with the Veterans Affairs disability process prior to separating from the military.
Military and family life counselors: Based at the LA&FRC, military and family life counselors provide service members, spouses, family members and children with a wide range of deployment, relationship and family, stress, grief and other daily life issues. MFLC services are free and anonymous. No records are kept and they can meet on or off base. To reach the MFLC office, please call 623-759-0094.
