Sponsorship Program
When a unit receives notification of your assignment, your sponsor will initiate personal contact with you to learn of specific concerns you and your family may have. The unit may include specific job-related information such as a letter from your commander, first sergeant, supervisor and/or sponsor. The sponsor can customize a package for you based on your specific needs. Military OneSource is an excellent resource for permanent change of station moves and information on base agencies and services.
Wing Orientation
A mandatory appointment, Wing Orientation includes a commander's welcome brief and community fair. This briefing is offered monthly to introduce newcomers to the services and facilities available at Luke Air Force Base. Refreshments are served and spouses are invited to attend.
