When planning for a move with the military, you might consider moving into government housing. Government housing is owned and maintained by the Department of Defense and is typically on the installation. Eligibility and availability for this type of housing may vary by service member, family size and installation. Unaccompanied Housing
All single personnel E1-E5 arriving under permanent change of station orders should contact the Barracks Support Center (Building 5300), after checking into the air station. Staff NCOs and officers will normally be required to obtain housing in the local community.
The size and floor plans of barracks rooms vary, depending on the Service Member’s rank. All barracks rooms are cable ready, equipped with a refrigerator and have outside phone line access.
