Contact information for key programs and services at this installation.
A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
Items available for checkout include kitchenware, futons, crockpots, coffee pots, vacuum cleaners, tables, chairs, and coolers.
The Loan Closet provides free temporary use of household items for those who are moving to or from McConnell. Most items can be checked out for up to 30 days.
Loan ConditionsThe borrower is responsible for inspecting all items prior to acceptance to ensure they are clean and in good working order. Do not accept items that are not in good condition. We suggest washing dishes, utensils and other cookware before use. The borrower is responsible for replacement or repair/replacement charges on any damaged or lost items. Loaned items must not be further lent or transferred to another individual. Loading and unloading the items are the responsibility of the borrower.
Hold Harmless AgreementThe availability and loan of an item does not constitute Air Force endorsement of the product or its manufacturer. The signing of this form denotes acceptance of full liability and responsibility for the use of loaned items, and for the safety of any person who uses the items. Instructions, if provided, must be read and followed.
The signee agrees to hold harmless and defend the Government of the United States and all its agents, acting officially or otherwise, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, debts, and attorney's fees arising from, claimed on account of, or in any manner predicated on the loss or damage to the property of and injuries to or death of any persons whatsoever, which may occur from the use of these items.

Some loan items are in high demand and an extension of the loan period may not be possible.
