Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
McConnell AFB's newcomer orientation, Right Start, is held on various Tuesdays of every month from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Right Start is comprised of briefings from base leadership, the Sexual Assault & Prevention Program, Safety Office, Emergency Management, Wing Inspector General, Equal Opportunity, Public Affairs, Security Forces, M&FRC, and more. The agenda includes an information fair with guests from various agencies on and off base who are eager to welcome you and share what they have to offer. New personnel will be registered for Right Start by their unit CSS and will attend FTEC Right Start or Right Start based on their status. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is a Loan Closet located in building 732 with household items available for check-out. Both in-bound and out-bound personnel may borrow items for up to 30 days.
The Airman's Attic is in the same location as the Loan Closet. Items available include gently used household goods, toys, uniforms, and clothing for all ages. Items are free for E5 and below. Uniforms are free for all ranks.
