The Military and Family Support Center is one part of a larger network of agencies, programs, services, partnerships and individuals that supports your personal and family readiness. The larger system called the Military Family Readiness System is a web of support for you and your family. The Military and Family Support Center should be one of your first stops once you arrive at a new installation. The programs and services they offer are a key resource for you and your family.

We offer all the below listed programs and so much more! Some of the programs/services offered by the FFSC:
Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Liaison
The FFSC at NAS, Jacksonville is one of five centers across the Navy to provide a full-time EFMP Liaison. The program help meet the needs of families that have physical, mental and/or emotional disabilities.
The goal of the EFMP is to give Sailors the opportunity to excel in their careers by addressing the special needs of their Exceptional Family Members (EFM) in areas such as, chronic medical conditions, mental health, developmental or educational requirements, adaptive equipment or assistive technology devices and services.
Retired Affairs Office (RAO)
The mission of the RAO is to provide a valuable link between the retiree, the civilian and military communities. The RAO serves all military retirees. Information is provided to ensure retirees receive their entitled benefits, rights, and privileges. The RAO office is manned by volunteers. The Director of RAO is a volunteer from the retired community that is designated by the Commanding Officer.

The RAO and The FFSC’s goal is to improve the Quality of Life for retired military members and their families.
