When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.

The USO maintains a military assistance desk at the Pensacola Regional Airport from 8 a.m.– 8 p.m. daily, this desk is manned by volunteers.
Checking in
NAS Pensacola
All permanent duty personnel are required to check in at the NAS Pensacola Quarter Deck, Bldg 1500, 850-452-4785, in the Uniform of the Day with orders in hand. New personnel will be directed to their respective command from there. For a specific command phone number contact the Relocation Office 850-452-5990 ext. 0.
NATTC
Students are required to check in at Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) Mega building Quarter Deck 850-452-7300, in the Dress Uniform and for staff in your NSU or better with orders in hand. For additional information, please contact NATTC Sponsor Coordinator, at 850-452-7022/5859 for directions to the proper school from there.
Naval Air Schools Command
Check-in during normal working hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday), at the Naval Aviation Schools Command (NASC) Quarterdeck 850-452-2414 will direct check-ins regarding turning in of orders and records, processing of travel claims and picking up a check-in sheet. Personnel reporting after normal working hours (4:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.) should check in with the NASC OOD in Building 633 to have orders endorsed. This applies to personnel desiring to report aboard during holidays or weekends as well.
Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Personnel (staff and students) reporting to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) will report to the Quarterdeck, Building 3460, 2nd Deck, in uniform of the day (not dungarees), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 850-452-8056. Personnel will need to have orders and service records upon reporting. After reporting to the Quarterdeck the OOD will give further directions.
USMC
USMC staff/instructors and commissioned students check-in for both MATSG21 and MATSG 23 Quarter Deck, Building 3450, call 850-452-9460 for further information.
USAF
Arrival at 479th FTG/CSS (451st FTS/455th FTS)
Incoming personnel (staff and students) reporting to the 479th FTG should call 850-452-0938 for directions.
Make your Temporary Lodging reservations well in advance if possible before your arrival to NAS Pensacola. On base resources include the NAS Pensacola Navy Lodge (pet friendly) 850-456-8676, Navy Gateway Inn & Suites 850-452-2755, Oak Grove Beach Cottages (one-bedroom units that sleep six, and two-bedroom units that sleep seven) and Oak Grove Campgrounds 850-607-5032 and Blue Angel Park (15 two-bedroom trailers) and campgrounds 850-390-6133.

If you get married before, or while enroute to your next duty station, you must inform your command and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures. The same goes for moving your household goods to your new duty assignment. You must have prior approval from the Personal Property Office (PPO) / Military Transportation Office (household goods) . You can contact the NAS Pensacola Personal Property Office at 850-452-4654 if you have any questions. If you are a student and get married enroute, do not bring your spouse with you. You will not receive any compensation to or from NAS Pensacola for moving your spouse regardless of "Brown Bagger Chit" status.
