Welcome to Whiting Field Homes Navy Family Housing, a Public-Private Venture Community run by Balfour Beatty Communities.

Whiting Field Homes is conveniently located approximately seven miles south of NAS Whiting Field and just minutes away from Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, I-10 access, numerous restaurants, and local attractions.

Our two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes are available for both officers and enlisted. All units are equipped with electric ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, washer and dryer hook-ups, and central air and heat. Features within the housing area include a community center, seasonal swimming pool and kiddie pool, tennis court, large playground area, dog park, and a walking/jogging trail that encircles the community. Life Works programs and community events are offered monthly. Your rent includes water, sewer, trash, electric and lawn care services, as well as access to a 24-hour maintenance team/trouble call response and access to boat/trailer parking (space available).

There is a two pet-maximum with dangerous breed restrictions: Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Chows, Akitas, American Bull Dogs, Presa Canario’s, American Staffordshire Terriers, English Staffordshire Terriers, and wolf hybrids are not permitted. No pet deposit is required for active duty.

Single service members are now also eligible for family housing. The rental price is the Whiting Field Homes Market Rate (rates can be provided by BBC at 850-626-6202). If two single service members share a house, the rent payment is split between the two roommates.

Keep part of your BAH! Dual military families pay rent at the BAH rate for the senior member only.

The Navy Exchange Mini-Mart and Housing Office are located on-site.

Application

Application paperwork for assignment to housing is available through the Housing Office and can be submitted to the Family Housing Office with a copy of your orders and a page two. Applications can be submitted by mail, email, FAX or in person anytime following receipt of permanent change of station orders. Placement on the wait list will be the member's detachment date from his/her previous duty station if application is received within 30 days of report date. If applications are received 30 days after reporting to your new permanent duty station, the effective date of application will be the date the completed paperwork is received by the Housing Office.

The Whiting Pines Navy Family Housing, a Public-Private Venture community is available to both officers and enlisted. Whiting Pines Housing is open to civilian personnel and non-affiliated civilians who qualify.  Whiting Pines Navy Family Housing offers 2, 3, and 4 bedroom homes with many amenities.
