Administrative Services
VCAS provides a wide array of services to the community including licensing, missing pets, cremation, field and other administrative services. They are staffed 24 hours a day to respond to field emergencies.Phone Hours

No pet quarantine exists for this area.
There are no pet boarding or kennel facilities at Naval Base Ventura County.

Honesty is always the best policy. Sneaking your pet into "no-pets allowed" residences is risky.
No more than two pets are permitted aboard Port Hueneme and Point Mugu. However Camarillo, Catalina Heights, housing is a no pet community. Pit bulls (American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Rottweilers, any wolf hybrid or any mix of the aforementioned breeds are not permitted in any family housing or aboard the base.
Pets must be under the control of their owners at all times. When outside the fenced yard, pets must be controlled on a leash. Yards are to be cleaned daily of pet waste and immediately on the spot when exercising pets outside of the resident's fenced yard.
