To register your child online, visit the Aspen Student Information System. The Request an account feature for new users is only accessible on a desktop or laptop computer. Once you have completed the online registration, contact the school registrar to finalize enrollment and bring your child's current immunization records, passport or birth certificate and a copy of PCS orders. Hand-carry any previous school records with you during your move to expedite enrollment and course placement.
School meals are provided through AAFES. Visit their website to set up your meal account and apply for free/reduced meals.
British Schools
As residents of the United Kingdom, families can also choose to enroll their students in host-nation British schools. State-funded schools are available with no tuition costs, however independent schools may charge tuition. No reimbursement is available for any costs or fees incurred for attending a British school.
Homeschool
Educating at home is another option and this decision is entirely up to the parent. No financial support or reimbursement is offered if this education option is chosen, however eligible homeschooled students can participate in auxiliary services through DoDEA. All new and returning students who require school bus transportation services for an upcoming school year are required to register with the student transportation office for a NEW bus pass. To proceed with DoDEA enrollment, please submit your registration request through the Aspen system at https://dodeasis.myfollett.com/aspen/logon.do. You will need immunization records, proof of age (birth certificate or passport), and your PCS orders to get started. If you are new to the DoDEA system, you will need to access this website on a desktop or laptop computer as the “Request an account” feature is not available on mobile devices. Continuing Education - Postsecondary
The RAF Alconbury Education Center offers a full range of services at the Tri-base community for active-duty military and spouses, as well as DoD civilians. Services provided include educational counseling for degrees of all levels, and for the Community College of the Air Force. As well as commissioning opportunities, financial aid information, and active-duty and spouse tuition assistance. Also available is testing support for college courses, college-level examination programs, professional military education, defense language proficiency testing, and other exams. RAF Alconbury Education Center hosts a National Test Center run by Pearson Vue and UMGC.
