Resources are available to help you understand and manage your finances, including one-on-one financial counseling to assist you and your family with financial readiness. The Financial Readiness Program helps military personnel, civilian employees and their families achieve financial success through learning and practicing good personal finance. Financial Readiness also helps our clients achieve financial success through education, resources and making sound consumer choices.
FRP also helps with determining the type and level of assistance required and makes appropriate referrals to civilian agencies.
Financial Readiness Classes are available for groups or one-on-one. We cover everything from planning and budgeting, banking and checking accounts, using credit wisely, insurance, saving and investing, large purchases, car buying and consumer awareness.
Army Emergency Relief falls under the Financial Readiness Program. AER can provide 0% interest loans. Grants are sometimes available to Active Duty Service members, Retirees and survivors on a case by case basis.
