A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
Welcome home to WSMR! Our Lending Closet offers a variety of essential items for your convenience, including pots and pans, silverware, dishes, queen-size air mattresses, futons, slow cookers, irons, ironing boards, microwaves, toasters, and coffee pots. We also provide mini tool kits to help ease your move-in process.
Items can be borrowed for a 30-day period. For additional details, please reach out to ACS Relocation Readiness at 575-678-6767.
To inquire about item availability, contact the Army Community Service at 575-678-6767 or DSN 312-258-6767. Items are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to DOD ID Card Holders, with priority given to Active Duty Service Members.
The White Sands Missile Range Relocation Readiness Program Lending Closet offers essential household items to ease your transition to the new duty station. We provide easily transportable Family Packs for Singles/Couples and for Families of 4, with the option to add items for additional family members.
