The Military and Family Support Center is one part of a larger network of agencies, programs, services, partnerships and individuals that supports your personal and family readiness. The larger system called the Military Family Readiness System is a web of support for you and your family. The Military and Family Support Center should be one of your first stops once you arrive at a new installation. The programs and services they offer are a key resource for you and your family.

The Exceptional Family Member Program at U.S. Army Garrison Benelux/Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe/Chièvres provides advocacy and coordinates resources for families with special education or medical needs. Upon arrival, please stop by to register with the local EFMP, located in Building 318 on U.S. Army Garrison Benelux/SHAPE. The EFMP coordinator will assess your community support needs and assist you in locating the resources you need. It is recommended that you hand carry any important documentation relating to EFMP enrollment, the family member’s special needs, medical and school records (including Individualized Education Program and Individualized Family Service Plan forms, if applicable) and enough medication or medical supplies to last at least six weeks.
Relocation Program Manager
Upon your arrival, Army Community Service invites you to meet with our Relocation Readiness Program manager. You will receive a welcome package and information on our Host Nation Orientation classes. The RRP manager will be happy to address any concerns you may have upon arrival.
