Legal assistance is available to you and your family. Below, you’ll find information about claims and installation specific programs and services. If you have questions, reach out to the legal assistance program at your installation.
Legal services are provided by the Army's Northern Law Center located on the second floor of Building 318 at U.S. Army Garrison Benelux/ Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe. Reach the Law Center by calling DSN 314-597-7668 or commercial 065-75-7668.
The Law Center staff provides legal assistance to all eligible clients. Notarizations and powers of attorney may be obtained on a walk-in basis. Most other services are provided through appointments. The bilingual staff members are also available to assist in translating documents written in French for official U.S. Army business.

A Belgian attorney is also available by appointment to address issues pertaining to Belgian law.
Claims
The Claims Office services all military units in Belgium and processes household goods, unaccompanied baggage and privately owned vehicle claims. This office also processes tort, NATO and status of forces agreement claims. You can reach the office at DSN 314-423-4195 or commercial 065-44-4195.

This section provides translations of documents for official U.S. Army business, traffic ticket assistance and out-processing services.
