Health care services provided by the Department of Defense are available to you and your family at your installation. We know that finding the right health care is important, especially in special circumstances such as emergency or during recent move. Here, you’ll find information and options about the services you have regarding healthcare.
The Wiesbaden Health Clinic provides routine care for service members and their family members. Emergency care services are available at two local hospitals or at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, a one-hour drive.

Training Service Center representatives can also help schedule your initial appointment with the host nation provider, give you contact names and phone numbers, provide a map with driving directions and offer other useful information. They can also help you understand required medical documentation and medical bills as well as assist with medical document translation. The TRICARE office will assist with scheduling obstetrics facility tours and birth registration.
When you move, TRICARE moves with you. No matter where you go in the world, TRICARE is there before, during and when you get to your next duty station.

Before you move, you should take care of any routine medical needs, including immunizations, and fill your prescriptions so you have enough while traveling. If you need care during your move, visit Getting Care When Traveling to learn what to do.
Filling prescriptions while traveling
You should refill prescriptions before traveling. But if you run out of a prescription drug while traveling, visit Filling Prescriptions When Traveling.
Getting dental care while traveling
Getting dental care while traveling depends on your location and whether you are a service member or family member.
With permanent change of station orders, ask for a copy of your medical and dental records from your military treatment facility and the dental treatment facility. Do this at least one month before your PCS date. The MTF should also transfer a copy of your record and any family records to your new duty station or you may be able to hand carry them to your new duty station.
If you want someone else to be able to get medical or dental information on you or your family while you are moving, you need to complete a DD Form 2870, "Authorization for Disclosure of Medical or Dental Information."

The Wiesbaden Army Health Clinic provides routine care for soldiers, civilians and their family members. The WAHC, located in Building 1040, provides various care capabilities and ancillary services.
The clinic does not provide emergency care. Any emergency care needed after duty hours must be rendered by one of the local host nation German Hospitals. There is no emergency room on post. For medical emergencies, go to the nearest hospital, dial 112 off post, or call the Military Police station at DSN 114 or civilian 0611-143-548-7777/7778.
The clinic’s hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The clinic is closed on federal holidays; limited services are available on training holidays.
