Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
Call Yuma Proving Ground’s Army Community Service Relocation Readiness Program office for help you need with all phases of the moving process. We have a comprehensive program to assist soldiers and their families adapt to the mobile military lifestyle. Services are provided to soldiers, retirees, Department of Defense civilians and their family members.
ACS holds one-on-one orientation at the time of in-processing.
Outreach is made to newly assigned military and civilian personnel and their families to welcome them to the community and to inform them of programs and services available. Outreach is done during in-processing and at various events (Back to School events, Winter holiday events, Safety and Wellness Expo, Commissary, Units, etc.). Services to Waiting Families is included in Outreach.
Online eSponsorship Training is available to all units and/or civilians who request it.
Guidance, counseling and advocacy are available before, during and after the move.
Relocation Assistance
The Installation Commander and Garrison Manager hold a Newcomer’s Orientation. Should you miss the mandatory Newcomer’s Orientation, ACS will assist you with your questions or concerns during in-processing. You are required to attend the next scheduled Newcomer’s Orientation. ACS offers welcome packets and a Lending Closet. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m.–4:30 p.m. ACS is located in Building 309. Call us at 928-328-2513 or DSN 312-899-2513.
