When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
You will in-process with the Unit to which you are assigned.
In-processing is conducted through your unit commander support staff (CSS).
All in-processing appointments are scheduled through your unit CSS.
For arrival during duty hours report to your CSS by the next buisness day; after hours, report to the 24 hour reporting location in the Billeting Office building 82.
Single enlisted personnel should ask their sponsor in advance if they should stay in lodging or if a dormitory room is available.
Attendance at Newcomers Orientation is mandatory for military personnel and highly encouraged for spouses.
Newcomers Orientation is held every third Thursday of the month at Club Altus 8:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and Making the Connection for Spouses is also the Third Thursday at the M&FRC noon - 1 p.m.

If arriving after hours, the 24-hour arrival point is the Red River Inn located at 307 B Ave, Bldg 82.
They will assist you in securing temporary accommodations. Visiting Quarters fees are $89.00.
The temporary lodging facilities (TLF) on base have kitchen facilities, bedroom area, private bath and other conveniences.
Fees are $96.00 for all ranks regardless of the number of occupants.
Red River Inn has ten "pet friendly" temporary lodging rooms, fees for these rooms are $96.00 plus a $10.00 nightly pet fee.
If they are occupied you will need to make arrangements for your pets in a local community boarding facility.

If you get married before you permanent change of station you must report to the Military Personnel Flight Customer Support Section to report your marriage, enroll your spouse in DEERS and obtain a spouse ID card.
You will be given a Marriage checklist with other tasks and agencies you will need to contact.
Lastly, you need to contact the Career Development Section who will amend your orders by adding your spouse to them.
