A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
While Creech AFB does not have a Youth Center, the Nellis AFB Youth Center complex provides space for a variety of classes, social activities, child care and sporting events. Programs utilize curriculum from 4-H Cooperative Extension as well as Boys and Girls Club. Character and Leadership activities include Keystone Club for teens, Torch Club for pre-teens and TRAIL (teaching responsible adolescents in leadership). Organized league play is offered in soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, and cheerleading. While a variety of fitness activities are offered daily through Air Force Fit Factor and recreational play.
Creech AFB personnel are welcome to use the Nellis AFB Youth Program. The mission of the Nellis AFB Youth Program is to provide a developmentally appropriate program of the highest quality in an environment that is both nurturing and stimulating: providing program activities that meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of children through core areas of Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, School Age Care, league sports and informal sports, fitness and recreation.
Creech AFB personnel are authorized to use Youth Services provided by Nellis AFB Youth programs.
Creech AFB personnel are welcome to utilize the the School Age Program at the Nellis AFB Youth Center. It provides high-quality before and after school care for children in ages 5yrs through 12 yrs. The School Age Program is accredited through the Council on Accreditation. It provides a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn and have fun without interference. The program also offers a summer camp program and provides full day care during winter and spring breaks. For registration, you will need: Military ID, AF Form 1181, child's updated shot record including seasonal flu shot, and written notification of special care required and/or allergies.

There are several options for care: 1) Before School Only, 2) After School Only and 3) Before and After School.

There are 3 easy steps to follow to "Request for Care":
1. Log onto site and create your username and password
2. Create a profile containing information about your family then search for the type of care that best fits your needs.
3. Select one or more program options and then submit the Request for Care.
Registration -- Documentation needed:
• Military ID
• AF Form 1181 for each child
• Child's updated shot record, including seasonal flu shot
• Written notification of special care required and/or allergies
You will receive an email stating that you successfully requested for care. Once your child has been placed by the Nellis School Age Coordinator, you will receive an email stating that care has been offered and to log back into the program to accept the offer. Once you accept, the Registration paperwork will be available at the Youth Programs front desk for you to finish.
Creech AFB personnel are welcome to utilize programs through Nellis AFB Child and Youth Services. Programs offered through youth sports at Nellis AFB include baseball, cheerleading, flag football, soccer and basketball. Opportunities also include day trips, hiking, and much more.
