If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.
For victim assistance, please contact Team Eglin's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response victim advocates at 850-882-SARC (7272). You can also speak with Family Advocacy at 850-883-8616 or 850-883-8615. For Victim's Counsel, District 1 call 850-884-1766.
For immediate urgent assistance, please call Security Forcers or Military Police at 850-882-2502 or dial 911 for ALL emergencies.
Air Force Aid Society can provide financial emergency assistance based upon need or a particular hardship through either loans or grants. Categories of financial assistance include basic living expenses (food, shelter, utilities), medical not covered by TRICARE, dental not covered by DDP, funeral expenses, emergency transportation, essential car repairs, pay and allotment problems, disasters and assistance for widows, mothers and children.

The American Red Cross is part of the Family Readiness division and offers food, clothing and financial support for military families in need. The Red Cross can also help with deployed military family members who need to return home in the case of a family emergency. The American Red Cross offers safety classes such as CPR and first aid.

Ensure all your important documents are with you and not packed with your household goods.
Dorm Management: The only information incoming members need to reserve a dorm room is the airman’s name, gender, rank, and their DOD ID number.
Also ensure you have phone numbers for your Commander, First Sergeant and your sponsor in case you have an emergency while you are traveling.
