The Eglin Military & Family Readiness Center supports military personnel, retirees, spouses, family members and Department of Defense employees of all branches of service.

• My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of tuition assistance to eligible military spouses for licenses, certifications, certificates or associate degrees to gain employment in high-demand, high-growth portable career fields and occupations.
• Spouse Reimbursement for Re-licensure and Recertification program reimburses service members up to $1000 for occupational State re-licensing and recertification costs their spouses incur due to a PCS/PCA.
• MySECO: Find out other education, training and licensure opportunities. Research scholarships, loans and other types of financial options best suited to help achieve spouses’ education goals. Discover the right program and the best school for you and your mobile military life.
• AFAS Employment Training Grant: This program provides active duty Air Force spouses with entry-level employment skills that will enhance their immediate employment opportunities. Upcoming classes include: (1)  the C.N.A. exam prep and licensing, and (2) QuickBooks certification
• AFAS Education Grant: The General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant program, also known as the Hap Arnold Grant, is the centerpiece of AFAS education support. Grants ranging from $500 to $4,000 are awarded to eligible Air Force and Space Force dependents each year. The specific amount awarded correlates to a student’s particular level of financial need.

Eglin offers separating and retiring military members a complete range of transition services.

The Military & Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) provides the means to meet all your congressionally-mandated requirements from Initial Counseling to Capstone.

The goal of the TAP workshop is to provide the necessary tools to equip separatees/retirees for employment in the civilian workforce or help them achieve success in their academic pursuits.

The TAP process consists of four elements:

1. Face-to-Face Initial Counseling
2. Pre-Separation Counseling
3. TAP Workshop
4. Capstone
