College/Technical Training Overview

If you’ve ever considered taking your education a step further, you should look to your installation for more information and assistance. They can help you decide if receiving an advanced degree is right for you, tell you which local colleges and classes are offered and find out if you’re eligible for tuition assistance. The Voluntary Education Center, or Installation Education Center, is available to help you put together a plan to advance your education.

Military spouses can also choose to engage with an education and career coach through the DoD’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program, or SECO. These coaches can assist them in exploring multiple tools, resources and information to reach their educational goals. Installation Education Center

Eglin's Education Center offers a variety of on-base programs from adult basic education through Master's degree programs.

The Education Center staff provides counseling services on military academic planning, Community College of the Air Force, Tuition Assistance (TA), commissioning programs, Air Force Institute of Technology, High School diploma or equivalency certificate, military correspondence courses, vocational training, Veteran's educational benefits, and testing and professional military education.

CCAF: The Airman's College

The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) educates Airmen for life. As an enlisted member, you're already automatically enrolled in the CCAF. Your Air Force education and training counts towards your degree! Contact the Eglin Education Office for assistance with completing your Associates Degree in Applied Science. Fly, fight and win in air, space and cyberspace.
