The mission of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Disposition Services, Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS), and DLA Installation Management are:

• DLA Disposition Services - DLA Disposition Services supports the Warfighter and protects the public by providing worldwide disposal of excess property received from the military services.
• DLA Logistics Information Services -Develop and execute logistics data strategies for creating, obtaining, managing, and integrating logistics data to support the DOD, federal agencies, and NATO supply chain management functions.
• DLA Installation Management -Provide safety, security, installation, and facilities management support services to all DLA Organizations.

Defense Service Network (DSN) Dialing Instructions

The DSN is the provider of long-distance communications service for the Department of Defense (DoD). Every installation has a special DSN number and the numbers vary by worldwide location. In order to place a call using DSN, the caller must be using a military phone on an installation. Cell phones cannot dial DSN numbers.
