You can contact Leshanda Thickening at CCAoA 703-341-4100 ext. 862; who is the Director of the Army Fee Assistance Program and can answer any questions you may have. CCAOA has a list of authorized daycare providers.

Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center has Stars and Stripes Learning Station https://www.youngchildassociates.com/ located on the installation. It is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is run by the U.S. General Services Administration. The Academy is a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children the nation's largest organization of early childhood educators. Accreditation is a voluntary comprehensive process of internal self-study and external professional review of 116 criteria which cover all aspects of a child care center including these 10 standards that SASLS strive for:

Programs Offered: The SASLS program offers to you and your children: Infant and toddler care, pre-school, kindergarten readiness, before and after school age care and summer camp for school age children.

Availability/Registration

The capacity of the Child Development Center is 98 children. There is a waiting list in some age groups, so apply as soon as you are notified of your arrival date. There is priority given to military/federal families. Registration is required to get on the waiting list.
