If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.
The Air Force Aid Society and Army Emergency Relief are available for emergency aid. They can help with emergency financial assistance and contacting people that will need to know where you are and what's happening.
The Incirlik AFRC (AFAS POC) can assist Izmir AF Personnel requiring AFAS financial assistance. AFAS POC can be reached by calling DSN 314-676-6755 or Commercial +90-322-316-6755. After hours will still be covered by the Stuttgart American Red Cross as they do for other USAFE bases. For U.S. Army assigned to NATO Land Command; the Alpha Company 1SG can be contacted at: DSN: 314-675-6500 or Commericial +90-232-455-6500 or http://www.aerhq.org this is for Emergency Financial Aid.

Carry your important papers (PCS/NATO orders, ID cards, Tourist passport, travelers checks, drivers license, ATM/DEBIT cards, Original birth certificate, email address and cell phone numbers, etc.) with you! Do not pack them in your luggage or your household goods. Write down telephone numbers for your relatives, your sponsor, your gaining unit orderly room, and the Base Operations Office Center (BDOC) here at Izmir. They will be invaluable in case of an emergency while traveling. Always have some savings set aside for emergencies.
