If you are approaching a permanent change of station, or PCS, you may have questions about your upcoming move. As part of the Military and Family Support Center, the Relocation Assistance Program provides services and resources to help make this transition as smooth as possible. Below is a list of resources.
You should call the Commander's Support Staff within one duty day of arrival for an in-processing appointment. All military personnel are obligated to wear uniforms while on NATO only; make sure this is on your orders and you receive it prior to departing your current duty station. Please request information through your current Military Personnel Flight (MPF). They will need to reference the Foreign Clearance Guide; this will talk about NATO orders.
There is a mandatory Newcomer's Orientation held once a month. Your sponsor should help you get settled during your first few days on station. Also, the 425 ABS Military and Family Readiness Center (DSN 314-675-6638 or 011-90-232-455-6638) and other support agencies will be there to help you. Don't try to do it alone, use the base and community resources.
