YOUTH CENTER
We offer a wide range of educationally enhanced programs, instructional classes, and events for children and youth on Kadena. The Youth Center provides a safe and fun environment supervised by a caring and well-trained staff.

Cooking Club- Want to learn how to cook your family a good meal? Join us and get the chance to learn how to prep a meal from the grocery store to the table!
Triple Play- Get a chance to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle by eating, working out and having fun all at the same time!
Passport to Manhood- This program teaches young boys positive character, leadership and behavior. By following from the example of their amazing leader each member will learn the potential that they can have on themselves, their family, their community and ultimately the world.
S.T.E.A.M. Club- If you like science and things that make you say “wow” this club is a great way to experience just that. Come and get lost, learning about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. (ages 6+)
Girls Talk- Aim high, girls! this program teaches young girls how to fined the potential thatchy have in themselves. Through an amazing club leader they will learn health, fitness, education and self-esteem enhancement to build the right skills for a better future, not just for them but for the world.
Torch Club- We provide youth opportunities to build skills in leadership and community involvement.
TEEN CENTER
We offer a variety of clubs that allow teens to grow in character and leadership, health and life skills, education and career, the arts, STEM, and physical fitness. These clubs include Cooking Club, Keystone Club, the Be Fit Club, and so much more.

Smart Girls Aim high, girls! This program teaches young girls how to find the potential they have in themselves. Through an amazing club leader, they will learn health, fitness, education and self-esteem enhancement to build the right skills for a better future.
Passport to Manhood Passport to Manhood promotes and teaches responsibility among young men. It consists of sessions concentrating on a specific aspect or character and manhood through highly interactive activities. Each participant receives his own “passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of maturation and growth.
Cooking ClubJoin us on as we teach basic cooking techniques and explore the foods around the world.
Fine Arts ClubFind your inner Picasso with the Fine Arts Club. We’ll teach you the basics of painting, drawing, and other forms of arts.
Teen Support Group (Every 3rd Thursday)Stuck in a sticky situation? Need some advice? Come meet with others and the MFLC, talk about your week and get out all your stressors!
Be FitWe’ll select an activity. Then we’ll turn off the video games and movies and just play! Following the activity, teens get a healthy snack and refreshing drink!

We embrace all aspects of youth development by incorporating positive principles of recreation while meeting the needs of our diverse community. Our philosophy is that youth sports participants are most successful in environments that are positively challenging, supportive, safe and adult supervised.
