Loan Closet

The Loan Locker has a variety of household items available for a 30-day loan. Items include dishes, silverware, cookware, small appliances (microwaves, toasters, air fryers and coffee makers.) These items may be of great need for individuals whose household goods have not arrived or have just been packed to depart. We do not provide bed linens, towels, or furniture and we do not accept donated items. Items are first come, first serve. We do not do reservations. Please stop by the Military and Family Readiness Center with a copy of orders to get started. Individuals must be stationed at Kadena or living on Kadena to utilize Kadena Loan Locker. Loan Locker items are also available at the following bases on the island – Camp Courtney, Camp Foster, Camp Hansen, Camp Kinser and Torii Station.

The Loan Locker facility is located in Building 220. You must bring a copy of your permanent change of station orders within 60 days of arrival/departure to check out items or the sponsor must have a copy of the member's orders they are sponsoring in. This service is available for both PCSing IN/OUT. You must reside on Kadena AB or work on Kadena AB to utilize the Loan Locker. The Loan Locker is first come, first serve. We do not do reservations.
