Legal Assistance

The Kadena Law Center provides legal advice and services to individuals, organizations, and command. Legal assistance is available to a majority of U.S. identification cardholders - please contact our office to verify eligibility.

Types of Services

We are able to assist individuals with various issues, including taxes, personal legal affairs, various end-of-life planning documents, notary services, powers of attorney, claims (for damages to personal property and injuries), and dealings with local authorities.

We also advise command on a wide variety of disciplinary and quality force issues, including courts-martial, nonjudicial punishment, administrative discharges, and demotions.

Information is available on a variety of legal topics and there are online worksheets to assist with wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives.

Household Goods Claims

*Key dates: You have 75 days for a notice of loss/damage and nine months for filing a formal claim.
