If you get married en-route to Minot AFB, notify your sponsor or commander and let customer support know when you in-process. Customer support will then add amendments to the orders. If this is not done, you will not receive payment and adjustments will not be made for your marriage during the permanent change of station. In addition, ensure your family members get enrolled in DEERS (Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System) so that they receive the appropriate benefits and coverages they are entitled to. Lastly, update your VRED (Virtual Record of Emergency Data) to correctly reflect your new spouse.
