The Military and Family Support Center is one part of a larger network of agencies, programs, services, partnerships and individuals that supports your personal and family readiness. The larger system called the Military Family Readiness System is a web of support for you and your family. The Military and Family Support Center should be one of your first stops once you arrive at a new installation. The programs and services they offer are a key resource for you and your family.
The Federal Voting Assistance Program – FVAP.gov – ensures service members, their eligible family members and overseas citizens have the tools and resources to register to vote and request an absentee ballot, regardless of their state of residence. The Voting Assistance Guide, or VAG, is a reference guide for everything you need to know about absentee voting in all 50 states, the U.S. territories and the District of Columbia.

Minot AFB Instruction 31-203: Prohibited breeds of dogs on Minot AFB are defined as Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, English Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler (full or mixed breed), or any other breed with dominant traits geared toward aggression. These animals are not permitted on base. In cases of mixed breeds and other disputes, the base veterinarian's determination will be final and conclusive.

Minot Family Life Education – This provides a wide variety of self-improvement opportunities to assist airmen and their families in developing resilience skills to navigate a mobile military lifestyle. Most presentations are flexible and can be delivered to unit or spouse groups.
Consultations – Non-therapeutic, one-on-one appointments may be scheduled at a convenient time to educate individuals on a wide variety of topics, including communication, workplace conflict, self-esteem, balancing responsibilities, time management and more.
HeartLink, a Right Start for Spouses – This quarterly workshop is tailored to provide spouses with an overview of the local area and the Air Force in general. Participants will learn about pay, benefits, resources and support agencies. In addition, they will have the opportunity to interact with a base leadership panel and learn why they are such an important part of the mission. Includes lunch and door prizes, and all materials are provided for free.
Workshops – Short, interactive sessions are offered on a recurring basis (usually weekly) and have included such topics as adoption, communication, goal-setting, making the marriage decision, marriage and money, win-win relationships, workplace conflict and more.
